The Fourth industrial revolution has changed virtually every industry in the last decade and now it’s time to apply that change to deliver on UN mandates. Moving humanity forward and faster by focusing on the use of innovative technology is critical to reach the UN goals.

The goal of UNTIL (The United Nations Technology Innovation Labs) is to function as a start-up environment and create a platform for collaborative problem solving between UN resources, academia, the private sector, and civil society. Each lab will link this platform with innovators from across the globe and facilitate the global exchanges of ideas and resources.

All Labs will support one another, sharing their information and experiments, and communicating successes or failures. The labs will invent, incubate, and accelerate technology-based products and services that address problems to find the optimal solution.

We are convinced that this new global initiative will help us to lift multitudes of people out of poverty, achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and enable developing countries to advance into a better future.
